About Me

I am a professional opera singer (bass), published author, and voice teacher with a background in the music business. In addition to my artistic work telling stories through music and media, my work centers around examining what “classical” singers of the future will need to know and do in order to be successful.

About My Work

My educational work and research are centered around three themes:

  1. Equipping singers to thrive in an unknown and unknowable future landscape;

  2. Training artists to develop technical proficiency and authentic artistic voice in equal measure; and

  3. Helping educational and performing institutions to meet the evolving needs of their students.
